Can you feel the "SEA" tonight?It is where we are.
Starry sky星空
We sailed from dawn to dusk day by day. Time flowed silently.We usually had dinner at sunset time. The sky changed from reddish orange to bluish purple,then the darkness fell.If the night was clear before the moon rising up,you could see the countless stars spread all over the dark sky.It was amazingly beautiful.One sleeplessnight,I climbed out of the cabin and sat on the cockpit.When I lifted my head to the sky,it was like a black silk carpet with countless pearls on it.I couldn't move my eyes away.It was Yuuki's night watch time.We didn't talk.He just left me a quiet time to enjoy the moment.

At day time,I seldom see boats on the sea.What accompanied us was usually the seabirds.Sometimes we had visitors,they swam by the boat and jumped out to say hello.Even though I couldn't catch their nimble movements by my camera,their visit always brought a big smile on my face.

Shower in the rain 沐浴在雨中
I love the time when Captain said "The nimbus is coming.There will be a heavy rain.It's shower time!".
In the long-distance sailing,we couldn't take a shower everyday due to the limited water.When I was on land,I couldn't go to bed without a shower.No matter how tired I was,one hot shower could release me from a long day.On the way to Caribbean ,we could use the water bottles to shower only about three or four days one time.For me,it was not enjoyable but acceptable.The first time I took a shower in the rain was in Maldives.The rain was heavy and cold with the sound of thunder.I was sooooo scared at that time and thought that it would be the most foolish thing to be strucked in the shower by lightning.But...You never know the limit of yourself.
"The rain clouds are coming.There will be a heavy rain.It's shower time",said Captain Hiro.I looked on the sea,the sky was gray ahead us.Yuuki and Max cheered and ran into the carbin to get their shower stuff.After long time on the sea,I longed for a shower without WATER limit.I love showering in the cold and quick rain on the tropical sea. Even though I had shower with my clothes on,it was still refreshing.

Our big main sail was broken.主帆破了!
One day the sea was rough.we got strong winds and big waves.Captain Hiro commanded Yuuki and Max to haul down the main sail.Suddenly the strong wind torn our main sail a big hole.It happened all in a sudden.We hauled the whole main sail down and changed a smaller one.Captain Hiro told me that"Due to the long time sailing on the sea,the strong sunlight and wind made our sails fragil.It was broken before but this time the hole was almost one meter."We have to fix this main sail in Saint Martin.We need to fix it so that we can use it on the Pacific Ocean. Rinko chan,you have one more job to do in Saint Martin now.Look for a sail shop!Our sails are all fragil now.We need to buy some sail tapes ,too."said Captain Hiro.
When I was still upset about the damage ,Captain Hiro already put the problem aside and talk about some funny things.His positive attitude cheered all the crews up all the time.
Cooking 烹飪...想破頭ㄋㄟ!
I like cooking.When sailing on the sea,cooking breakfast was my duty.Everyday when I was on night duty,I spent some time thinking about what to cook for the breakfast.I like using vegetables for cooking.Yuuki even asked me if I was a vegetarain before.Since it took us more than two weeks to get Saint Martin,We ran out of the fresh vegetables and food day by day.I had to come up some idea to cook can food or our frozen stuff.sometimes I read my cooking book for inspiration.
I cooked pancakes,noodles,rice,spaghetti,Chinese Gnocchi...and one day I ran out of the ideas and decided to cook noodles with "CHINESE HERBAL CHICKEN SOUP"(四物雞湯).The waves was huge when it was serving time.Captain Hiro helped to serve the breakfast .He put all the Chinese herbs in the noodle soup and said" Rinko chan,this noodle soup looks tasty.A big bowl with a lot of ingrediants".Yes!But...they were not eatable."It's so hard.What's this black stuff?It looks like tree skin."asked Max and Yuuki."It is Chinese herb ...not eatable.I am sorry I should tell Captain about this.Most of them are not for eating just for the flavor and its magic effectiveness." They picked every piece of Chinese herbs and threw them into the ocean.At the end,there was only half bowl left."What!Only half bowl left!"said Max."Hey guys,this soup is good for promoting blood circulation.You will feel energetic when you have it.It's very good ...........for women.".Anyway,we had early lunch that day.
