After three wonderful days in Salomon atoll,we had enough rest but not enough time to explore all the islands.It was time for us to sail away.I hope the nature beauty here can be preserved from human activities forever.
One time Captain asked Yuuki and I how long we wanted to stay in Salomon atoll if we could.I stared at the peaceful lagoon and the bluish green water."um...as long as we can...it's so beatiful here"I said." I was always busy for work and busy for doing things.I always have a lot of things to finish.In this uninhabited atoll,suddenly I got a lot of free time for myself.I can fix my boat,read,go swimming,go fishing....so much free time...when I was in Japan,I never had time to finish reading a book."said Captain.It was great to learn how to relax and enjoy the moment in salomon atoll.But we had to leave to the next stop as planed.
Reading became a main amusement on the boat while sailing.I did a book swap with Karin on Yacht Moon Walker before we left.Sailors are bookworms!
We left Salomon atoll before sunset.The wind was from SsE.It was usually consistent in direction and speed. We headed south west at 7 knots.I saw seabirds circling on the sea ,flying fish skipping ahead and gliding like a bird.We were on the open sea again.

In the dark night,there was nothing for company except my thought,the songs from my ipod and the starry sky.I relaxed and my mind wandered in my imaginative world.I prayed in my mind that I could maintain the good condition of my body till we met the land.Captain had a command for me. "Rinko Chan,I command you to EAT along the way."said Captain.I wish my body could follow Captain's command and show them that I was TOUGH!On the second day on the sea,the wind and waves became bigger and my body betrayed me again.I got seasick.Oh,Rinko chan forgot she had "DELICATE" ears!
In the following days,my body was like joining a hunger camp.It tried to protest against my stubborn will.No matter what I ate,I threw them up afterward.Captain made ice lemonade when the crews were not well.His lemonade was number one in the world.One day,Yuuki yelled on the deck cheerfully.We got our first fish along the way.YA!YA!YA!"We will have fresh sashimi for lunch today"said Captain.What a torture!I had no appetite for all the dainties.
One night,I lay down on my bed and peeked at the starry sky from my little window till the breaking dawn. "I don't want to be half dead anymore.I had to change!"I yelled in my heart.The thing to be afraid of was not what you fear but letting the fear kept you from going on.My stubborn will decided to have a meeting with my weak body.
"I am sorry that you(my body) are not well.Sometimes my headstrong will makes you(my boay)suffer a lot.I am so sorry!But only when we cooperate with each other that we can go wherever we want to go! I promise to take good care of you from now on.Can you try to eat anything? We both need energy to run functionally."I whispered to myself.
Maybe I was crazy,something miraculous did happen the next day.I sat on the deck all afternoon watching and helping Captain fix things and had my first meal without puking in four days.
On July 31st,I could cook as what I was doing on land.Captain was amazed at what he saw."Rinko Chan ,you are back from the outer space.You can EAT and COOK! It's a big news on Yaima!"said Captain.My face turned red with a shy smile.
On August 1st,we saw the land after one week sailing.It was Rodrigues Island,a dependency of Mauritius! Oh,we were going to land that day.I was happy as a clam at high tide!
